Basketball camps planned at HLMS, CRAF Center

Coach Mark Vick has two more sessions of basketball camps planned this summer.

Camps will be held July 24-27 at Houghton Lake Middle School and Aug. 7-10 at the CRAF Center in Roscommon.

Little Dribblers camps are for youngsters just starting out or who have never played before. Designed for youth aged four years old to second graders, the camps run both weeks from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Cost is $30 each week.

FUN-Damental Campers, for third through eighth graders, will include fun and learning from 10:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Cost is $35 each week.

Each week will also include Ad­vanced Skill Clinics for seventh through 12th graders, specifically designed to prepare players for their upcoming competitive middle or high school teams. Sessions run from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week. Cost for each clinic session is $20, or $55 for all three sessions.
