82nd District Court

The following were recently ar­raigned in 82nd District Court:

Andrew K. Jackson, 22, Mt. Pleasant, demanded preliminary examination within 21 days on a charge of possession of marijuana. Hometown Security Team officers made the arrest. The date of offense was Nov. 1. Bond was set at $5,000.

Scott D. Martin, 55, Holly, de­manded preliminary examination within 21 days on charges of car­rying a concealed weapon and pos­session of marijuana. Hometown Security Team officers made the ar­rest. The date of offense was Oct. 25. Bond was set at $5,000.

Jason L. Osantowski, 38, Fred­eric, demanded preliminary exami­nation within 21 days on a charge of second degree criminal sexual con­duct. The Roscommon County Sher­iff’s Office made the arrest. The date of offense was Aug. 13-14, 2016. Bond was set at $10,000.

Guy T. Smalley, 61, Roscom­mon, demanded preliminary ex­amination within 21 days on three counts of assaulting/resisting/ob­structing a police officer. The sher­iff’s office made the arrest. The date of offense was Nov. 15. Bond was set at $10,000.

Timothy P. Terry, 32, St. Hel­en, demanded preliminary exami­nation within 21 days on charges of possession of marijuana and trans­porting open intoxicants in a mo­tor vehicle. Michigan State Police, Houghton Lake, made the arrest. The date of offense was Nov. 3. Bond was set at $5,000.

The following pleaded guilty to charges filed against them and were sentenced:

Zachary D. Davis, 26, Otisville, impaired driving: $1,390 in fines, costs or restitution, six months pro­bation and the conviction was re­ported to the Secretary of State.

Vincent J. Loiacano III, 25, Ros­eville, operating a watercraft while under the influence: 31 days in jail (credit for one day), with 30 days held in abeyance, $930 in fines, costs or restitution, six months probation and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State.

Zachary R. Belwood, 28, Hough­ton Lake, domestic violence, sec­ond offense: 365 days in jail (credit for 60 days), with 305 days held in abeyance, $1,235 in fines, costs or restitution and 12 months probation. He received credit for time served.

Kevin D.J. Gimmey, 46, Lansing, driving while intoxicated: 45 days in jail (credit for two days), with six days to be served immediately and 37 days held in abeyance, $1,570 in fines, cost or restitution, 12 months probation and the conviction was re­ported to the Secretary of State.

Darrick W. Rayment, 34, Hough­ton Lake Heights, third degree retail fraud: 93 days in jail (credit for 44 days), with 49 days held in abey­ance, $985 in fines, costs or restitu­tion and 12 month probation.

Thomas L. Anderson III, 18, Lake City, reckless driving: 30 days in jail with 30 days held in abeyance, $605 in fines, costs or restitution, six months probation and the convic­tion was reported to the Secretary of State.
