82nd District Court

Judge Richard E. Noble

Judge Richard E. Noble recently ar­raigned the following in 82nd District Court:

Chelsea R. Yager, 20, Redford, de­manded preliminary examination within 21 days on charges of possession of co­caine/ heroin or other narcotics less than 25 grams, possession of analogues and possession of marijuana/synthetic equiv­alent. Hometown Security Team officers made the arrest. The date of offense was Feb. 16. Bond was set at $5,000.

Jeffery S. Yonts, 49, St. Helen, waived preliminary examination and was bound over to Circuit Court on a charge of delivery/manufacture of mari­juana/ synthetic equivalent. Richfield Township Police made the arrest. The date of offense was Dec. 27, 2017. Bond was set at $5,000.

Jake M. Bearden, 18, Harrison, de­manded preliminary examination within 21 days on a charge of possession/pur­chase of ephedrine/pseudoephedrine to make methamphetamine. The Roscom­mon County Sheriff’s Office made the arrest. The date of offense was March 15. Bond was set at $15,000.

Aaron J. Clark, 40, Traverse City, de­manded preliminary examination within 21 days on charges of possession of less than 25 grams of a narcotic and posses­sion of marijuana/synthetic equivalent. Hometown Security Team officers made the arrest. The date of offense was March 14. Bond was set at $4,000.

Dustin D. Fouts, 25, Harrison, de­manded preliminary examination within 21 days on charges of soliciting another to obtain ephedrine/pseudoephedrine and driving with open intoxicants in a motor vehicle. The sheriff’s office made the arrest. The date of offense was March 15. Bond was set at $15,000

Justin T.M. Host, 19, Houghton Lake, demanded preliminary examina­tion within 21 days on charges of car­rying a concealed weapon and violation of a restricted driver’s license. The sher­iff’s office made the arrest. The date of offense was March 18. Bond was set at $25,000.

John D. Lusty, 22, Burton, demanded preliminary examination within 21 days on three counts of carrying a concealed weapon. Hometown Security Team offi­cers made the arrest. The date of offense was Feb. 27. Bond was set at $1,500.

Megan M. Maupin, 31, Roscom­mon, demanded preliminary exami­nation within 21 days on a charge of absconding or forfeiting bond. The sher­iff’s office made the arrest. The date of offense was March 12. Bond was set at $75,000.

Gregory M. Plutt, 51, Houghton Lake, demanded preliminary examina­tion within 21 days on charges of third degree fleeing and eluding and resisting and obstructing police. The sheriff’s of­fice made the arrest. The date of offense was March 18. Bond was set at $50,000.

Lindsie A. Smith, 28, Houghton Lake, demanded preliminary examina­tion within 21 days on a charge of ab­sconding or forfeiting bond. The sher­iff’s office made the arrest. The date of offense was Dec. 19, 2017. She was also charged with larceny in a building and demanded preliminary examination within 21 days on that charge. The date of offense was Dec. 29, 2017. Total bond was set at $25,000.

Robert J. White, 47, Capac, demand­ed preliminary examination within 21 days on a charge of possession of mari­juana, second offense. Hometown Secu­rity Team officers made the arrest. The date of offense was Feb. 8. Bond was set at $5,000.

The following pleaded guilty to charges filed against them and were sen­tenced:

Kalin M. Crittenden, 21, Prudenville, impaired driving: 31 days in jail (credit for one day) with 30 days held in abey­ance, $1,390 in fines, costs or restitution, six months probation and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State.

Chase A. Rosenthal, 22, Houghton Lake, impaired driving: 45 days in jail (credit for one day), with six days to be served immediately and 38 days held in abeyance, $2,620 in fines, costs or res­titution, 12 months probation and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State.

Scott A. Devries, 60, Mattawan, driv­ing while intoxicated: 45 days in jail (credit for one day), with 15 days to be served immediately and 29 days held in abeyance, $1,570 in fines, costs or res­titution, 12 months probation and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State.

Kelly M. Stevens, 52, Midland, driv­ing with a suspended or revoked license, second offense: 45 days in jail with 45 days to be served immediately. The con­viction was reported to the Secretary of State. The sentence is concurrent to a probation violation sentence.

Zachary A. Miley, 26, Burton, pos­session of marijuana: $850 in fines, costs or restitution and 60 days license suspen­sion.

John A. Simonyi, 72, St. Helen, pos­session of marijuana: $475 in fines, costs or restitution and the conviction was re­ported to the Secretary of State.

Donald R. Wieland, 48, Chagrin Falls, OH, possession of marijuana and driving while intoxicated: 31 days in jail (credit for one day) on each count, with 60 days held in abeyance, $2,090 in fines, costs or restitution, six months probation and 30 days license suspen­sion.

Donald P. Ritchie III, 26, Houghton Lake, possession of marijuana and do­mestic violence: 93 days in jail (credit for four days), with 30 days to be served immediately on each count, with 118 days held in abeyance, $1,860 in fines, costs or restitution, 12 months probation and 60 days license suspension.

Jamey L. Rolland, 36, St. Helen, do­mestic violence: 93 days in jail (credit for nine days) with 84 days held in abey­ance, $1,235 in fines, costs or restitution and 12 months probation.
