HLRCC Great Egg Scramble and Bike Giveaway



SCRAMBLING FOR EGGS The CRAF Center’s gym was filled with excitement the morning of March 24 for the Higgins Lake-Roscommon Chamber of Commerce Great Egg Scramble and Bike Giveaway with children scrambling to pick up candy- and prize- filled Easter eggs. The day’s event also featured games, a chance to meet the Easter Bunny and a bike giveaway. GAMES AND PRIZES In addition to the Great Egg Scramble, the Bike Giveaway and a chance to meet the Easter Bunny, children who attended the Higgins Lake-Roscom­mon Chamber of Commerce Great Egg Scramble and Bike Giveaway were able to play games and win prizes. Three-year-old Julie Huff, the daughter of Joe and Roberta Huff of Houghton Lake, tries her luck in the bean bag toss as HLRCC Secretary Andrea Weiss looks on. CHECKING OUT THE EASTER BUNNY As his parents, James and Brittany DeArmond, took a few pictures, 13-month-old Malachi DeArmond of Roscommon, took a long look at the Easter Bunny. The Easter Bunny made an appearance at the Hig­gins Lake-Roscommon Chamber of Commerce Great Egg Scramble and Bike Giveaway held March 24 at the CRAF Center. NEW WHEELS Jemma King, 20 months, the daughter of Shannon and Tammy King of Roscommon, was one of the 12 children to win a bike in the bike giveaway. Walmart of Hough­ton Lake donated two of the bikes given away at the annual Great Egg Scramble and Bike Giveaway.
