Job fairs planned for April

Michigan Works! Northeast Consortium will be hosting job fairs in April.

The events are the largest multi- employer job fairs in the region, with over 100 area employers expected and hundreds of full-time, part-time and seasonal openings available.

Job fairs are planned in Gaylord, Alpena and Grayling, all from 3 to 5 p.m.

The Gaylord event is April 5 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 515 South Wisconsin Ave. Alpena’s event is April 17 at Alpena Community College Park Arena. The April 18 event in Grayling will be at the Ramada Inn, 2650 I-75 Business Loop.

The free events are open to the public.

Those attending are asked to bring copies of resumes and dress prepared to interview. No children, pets or food/beverages are allowed.

Employers can host a booth for free. Interested employers can contact Michigan Works! Northeast Consortium at (800) 371-2533.
